Two years later, the remaining three commissioners are elected. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
Regular Board of Commissioners Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 4:30 PM. The meetings are held at the Historic Train Depot located at 115 S. Dickerson Street, Burgaw.
The first hour of the meeting consists of general business and special presentations. At 5:30 pm the Board breaks for ten minutes in order for the public to sign up for the public forum and public hearing time.
If you desire to address the Board during the public forum time please be present at 5:30 pm to sign up. You will be granted three minutes to speak your concerns to the Board. You must also be present and signed in to speak at a public hearing.
Upon reconvening after the break, the public forum and public hearings are held. After the public forum and public hearings are complete the Board attends to the remaining business on the agenda.
